Climate Literacy
The “Essential Principles of Climate Literacy” were developed through a partnership of federal and non-federal agencies, led by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).  Parks Climate Challenge uses these principles to guide and organize its teacher trainings and the resources offered through this website.

Read below to understand the concept of climate literacy and the essential principles of literacy.  Or, go to http://www.globalchange.gov/resources/educators/climate-literacy to download the full “Essential Principles of Climate Literacy” document.
